Studio Sub Rosa is the design and restoration-renovation work of Allison Cannarsa. Early in her adult life she was caught at a crossroads between craft or historic preservation. She chose craft, studying and working as a jeweler for over a decade. A move to settle into the Hudson Valley, surrounded by its living heritage and historic architecture, reawakened that intense lifelong desire to be around old buildings.

Now the two paths are entwined. She is involved in all aspects of the work in her projects, laboring alongside a small crew of highly talented fellow craftspeople.
