Built in 1836, this stately Greek Revival stands at the center of a most picturesque town in the bucolic Western Catskills.
Our project in Delhi started in the spring of 2022 and was unique in that we temporarily moved in while we did the work. For eight months it felt like we were camping out inside a beautiful and spacious old house in the stunning Western Catskills. The house had been carved up into a 3-unit rental and we decided to keep it that way. We slept downstairs while we started on the second floor living space. We uncovered incredible antique wallpaper, gutted the bathroom and kitchen and set up two bedrooms and a living space. But unexpectedly mid-project a local couple left a letter begging to buy the house. We decided to sell it as-is to them happy to know they would continue where we left off and love the house as their forever home.
